USING YOUR LAPTOP IN THE LIBRARY

London International College of Continuous Development Library offers wireless access (aka "hot spots" and "WiFi") for currently enrolled students, faculty and staff to use with their personal notebooks, laptops and other mobile devices to connect to the University network and the Internet.
The library also provides a large number of Windows PC and Macintosh computers with Internet access for currently enrolled students, faculty and staff. Library computers are available free of charge on a "first come - first served" basis. Usage is limited to one hour at peak times when other users are waiting.

Memorial Day:
All libraries will be closed on Sunday and Monday, May 24 - 25.

Commencement Day:
Library will be closed on Friday, June 5. All other libraries will be open for regular hours.

Independence Day:
All libraries will be closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 3-5.

Labor Day:
All libraries will be closed on Monday, September 7.

The London International College of Continuous Development Libraries support the Institute’s programs of study and research. Five major subject libraries, for Architecture and Planning, Engineering, Humanities, Science, Management and Social Science, as well as several specialized libraries and the Institute Archives, offer access to a wide range of materials, both print and electronic.

The collection includes:

  • more than one million printed volumes
  • 11,000 current journal subscriptions
  • 278 online databases
  • over 30,000 electronic journal titles licensed for access on the Institute’s network

as well as extensive collections of:

  • microforms
  • maps
  • images
  • musical scores
  • sound recordings
  • and videotapes.
